UFO researcher Ross Coulthart claimed that a US special forces officer reported witnessing a UFO test flight while recovering at an Air Force base hospital.

The soldier claimed he received treatment at the military hospital at the Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. One night, while recovering, he sneaked out of his ward late in the night to smoke. While enjoying a cigarette, he saw a UFO floating mid-air just above trees near a clearing.

The craft hovered in the sky before suddenly rising and flying away.

Air Force allegedly conducting UFO test flights

The special forces soldier said he believed he stumbled upon a secret UFO test flight at Eglin AFB. The witness said the sighting occurred around 2 a.m.

UFO enthusiasts believe that the Eglin Air Force Base in Florida is one of the facilities where the US government stores alleged alien spacecraft recovered from crash sites.

According to UFO lore, government scientists and engineers conduct reverse engineering research at Eglin. Part of the alleged reverse engineering work involves expert pilots learning to operate alien machines to gain insight into how they work.

UFO zipped away, returned minutes later

The witness recalled that the object accelerated and flew away so quickly that it seemed to have disappeared instantaneously.

But despite the tremendous speed, it moved silently and stealthily. The only evidence of its physical presence moments after it disappeared was a gentle flutter above the trees.

The UFO returned minutes later, as silently and stealthily as it left.

Coulthart said he crosschecked the soldier’s description of the site on Google Maps and found the place was a high-security area. The officials conducting the alleged test flights didn’t know the soldier was watching.

Coulthart added that the soldier’s story was like dozens of other accounts that US military personnel shared, and he had no reason to disbelieve them.

AFB officials blocked congressman from accessing data

The latest news comes after Paranormal Papers reported that Representative Tim Burchett accused the Pentagon of stopping him and other members of his congressional subcommittee from gaining access to UFO files at the Elgin AFB.

Burchett led a team of members of the House subcommittee to a scheduled briefing at Eglin AFB in July, but when they got there, AF officials blocked them from attending the briefing.

He said senior USAF officials claimed he and some committee members were not eligible to view the classified information.
