Chart-topping rapper Kendrick Lamar says he saw a UFO when he was six years old but that nobody believes him whenever he tells them.

The 30-year-old musician says he saw the UFO from the balcony on a stairwell at the home where he was living with his mother in Compton.

Lamar has previously said the object looked like a “dart” which created multiple flashes across the sky, and said that while it was “surreal” he is not exaggerating what he saw.

He told The Howard Stern Show: “Nobody believed me then and [nobody] believes me now. I probably shouldn’t even be talking about it…[but] I’m going to stand my ground.

“It’s just something I can’t really describe, because it just sounds like, ‘OK, you just saw a dart go past.’ That s*** don’t make sense…it was just a surreal moment.”

Asked by the show’s co-host whether he may have been kidnapped by aliens, he joked: “I probably did. That’s probably why I’m doing music right now. Who knows. They probably gave me the energy.”

Lamar was recently nominated for seven Grammy Awards ahead of next year’s ceremony which will take place on January 28, 2018.
